NIMS Centre for Genomic Medicine, a comprehensive genetic healthcare facility, is a pioneering initiative situated in the prestigious NIMS Medicity campus in Trivandrum, Kerala. Our centre is proudly backed by the Noorul Islam Educational Trust, with a rich legacy dating back to 1955. With a steadfast commitment to excellence, we stand at the forefront of genetic consultation, diagnostics, research services, training, research and development in in Medical Genetics, Genomics and Applied Biosciences. It is a first of its kind initiative under the aegis of a private hospital, in Southern India.

We aim at providing comprehensive, accurate and affordable genetic consultation and testing to all in the disciplines of Reproductive Medicine, Cancer Genomics, Inherited Disorders, Infections and Genomic Wellness. NIMSCGM brings together patients, providers, and researchers to discover the genetic causes of disease and translate these discoveries into better diagnoses, treatments, and prevention strategies. NIMSCGM envisages a genomics community seeking to advance research from basic genomics research to ultimately using genome information for diagnostics and targeted therapeutics.
Our Training division imparts training in various disciplines of Biosciences with the state of art technology research centre, having both dry and wet labs, facilitating the students to equip them with the latest and advanced technological courses, specifically oriented to the needs of the healthcare industry.

As an integrated clinical academic centre, we are supporting the next generation of researchers in diverse areas including molecular biology, bioinformatics and precision medicine. We host a number of PhD and Masters studentships and fellowships, apart from short term courses and Internships. We also offer a range of educational activities to support doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals stay up to date with genetics within their specialist areas.
